Metro Manila’s Volunteer Fire Brigades Deserve Gear, Not Promises
PVFA is a gear-focused humanitarian initiative supporting volunteer fire brigades across Metro Manila.
We operate with full transparency, no fundraising, and a strict gear-only model.
We are looking for a Manila Fire Brigade to pilot the program. We’re just getting started!

Mission Statement
The Philippine Volunteer Fire Alliance supports civilian volunteer fire brigades by coordinating access to new, certified safety equipment and by promoting disciplined operational standards. PVFA’s purpose is to help ensure that volunteer firefighters have the protective gear required to operate safely and return home to their families after every call.
The alliance functions independently and without revenue. PVFA accepts no donations, conducts no fundraising, and maintains zero political involvement. Its role is limited to transparent coordination, standards guidance, and the distribution of verified, brand‑new protective equipment to volunteer units that need it most.
What We Do
Standards and safety protocol guidance for volunteer fire brigades
Coordination support for accessing new, certified protective gear
Independent civilian resource with zero revenue and zero fundraising
PVFA coordinates access to brand‑new, certified protective equipment for volunteer fire brigades, ensuring all gear meets current safety and regulatory standards
We verify equipment specifications, certification status, and compliance before any distribution or coordination support
PVFA operates independently with no revenue, fundraising, or political involvement
Who I Am
I have 23 years of fire service experience, beginning as a volunteer firefighter and later serving as a paid responder and Fire Chief. My work has included operational leadership, incident management, and assignments within emergency operations centers. This background gives me a clear understanding of the safety risks created when protective equipment is outdated, uncertified, or incomplete
Why I Started This Outreach Program
Although I now work in an All- Hazards Awareness Center, my roots are in volunteer firefighting. I’ve returned to those roots by supporting my local department and helping train the next generation of firefighters. PVFA was created to coordinate access to new, certified protective gear and to promote safer, more consistent volunteer fire operations across the Philippines. The alliance operates independently, with zero revenue, zero fundraising, and zero political activity.
